Cheap flights Oz-LHR (BA)

These aren't extraordinarily priced, but certainly worth recognising. I booked a return to LHR flight yesterday based on these fares. I was going anyway and this made it seem reasonable to me to fly oneworld instead of a cheaper carrier...

A QF flight in June MEL-LHR-MEL was costed at around ~$2600, but with these specials (not sure how long they'll last?) you can get the same flights - BA codeshare on QF meta - for around ~$2200.

Bargain prices, I reckon for that time of year. It gets more expensive in July as it gets more peak... I didn't look, but I think still cheaper than QF by a margin...

Reverse of Topic, but you can easily purchase a return flight booking ex LHR to MEL for travel commencing up until 21 jun for £672 all up. (~AUD1130)

I did a random search for dates in April from SYD-LHR on Qantas.com (full price)

$2128 all in

So $2200 is definately not `cheap` at all.
