Love to see a match (or even close) from NZ... Just not prepared to fly that far in UA Coach!!!

But it only accepts a US credit card or US paypal account at checkout.

Does anybody know how to get around this and pay for it successfully?
 
I have made reservations on UA using my Oz Amex.

Did you make your reservations on the us website or aus website?

The price difference between these two websites is about $200, and the aus website is more expensive.

Both, but that was earlier this year - also for domestic USA HUP fares. I booked two one-ways about a week apart, checking fares on both portals and ascertaining the cheaper options.

Maybe the OZ portal will get cheaper as exchange rates 'catch up'.
