Cool. I'm travelling with the whole family, so my timing is a bit of a guess. But the flight is at 15:15 so we should make it by about 14:00. Will definitely say hi. Do you have lounge membership, just my guest spots are taken by the family (in fact I'm one short :shock: but they are pretty good at letting the kids in )

Anyway, will keep the day in mind.

We'll definitely be there before 14:30. Just don't tell the wife we arranged to meet on the interweb.

I'm not concerned about the guest situation as I am just waiting to be refused. I'll tell the youngest to wait on the seats in the lounge entry foyer. She'll then start crying when we go inside and the desk staff will be there with a crying child. I'm sure that might make them change their minds on the entry rules.

I might be a bad dad, but I often get what I want. Well, really the staff are very understand on the family situation.

From the QF webiste:

Next onward flight that day must be on a Qantas marketed and operated flight.
One guest permitted if also travelling on a Qantas marketed and operated flight.

So looks like I can provide an easier solution for you medhed than being a "bad dad" to persuade the QP staff.
