There does indeed exist a pay lounge at LCCT. It's divided in half with the largest part on the airside. I used the airside last September during a D7 layover. Food and drink was okay, but limited and the turnover rate was slow due to there being only 4 other people there. Couches were comfy enough but lounge was small, albeit empty. I also had a shower, of which there is only 1 in a cubicle next to toilet cubicles and it was possible that I would actually be getting dirtier by having a shower than not having one at all...
