On my recent MEL-LHR in F I awoke about five hours away from LHR and wandered down to the lavatorial facility to "freshen" up. The green for vacant sign was on the door so I pulled down on the door handled and opened the door. Eeeeeeeeeeeek! Did my eyes deceive me? No they bloody didn't, a gentleman was "sat on the throne" before me.
I was beginning to wonder if I had awoken in a West End theatre farce.
Ordinarily I would have put this, somewhat, unfortunate event behind me, and filed it in the "not to be accessed" part of my limited brain...but exactly the same thing happened on my return journey.
In 22 years of air travel this had never happened to me before...and then I am traumatised twice in two weeks!
Is there something that makes the locking of the F toilet harder than other toilets?
