Wondering if anyone knows any secure luggage storage options in SFO or LAS?

(besides a hotel room :))

Needing to be carry-on-only for a nice little run, but will be arriving in LOTFAP with luggage. So will need some "close to airport" storage for a few days ;)

(5 week trip in winter).

Certainly available at SFO as I have used it. Can't remember the rates however.

SFO - San Francisco International Airport - passenger services listing

None at LAX itself: NEW Greater Los Angeles (all airports) FAQ - FlyerTalk Forums

There are no lockers at LAX either landside or airside. FYI in the 70's a bomb went off in a locker and caused a lot of casualties and damage. Lockers were moved airside. They were totally removed after 9/11.

Here's a service that will take your luggage and bring it back: LAX Luggage Storage.com A Google search seems to yield reasonable comments.

Another idea is to get a day rate at an airport hotel. Many of them do this; if you have "points" with a particular chain they may be willing to keep your bags without taking a room.

Thanks Serfty!!

Now I just have to decide whether to start from SFO or LAS ;)
