I am a QFF and do 2 or so trips per month out of Brisbane. I have noticed recently that it takes a long time for my bags to arrive at the carousel. The last two times it was in excess of 20mins. I even rang the Qantas customer service to let them know I wasn't pleased.
I arrived back from AKL last month and managed to get through customs, immigration, etc and out to the car faster than it took me from my last Sydney trip.
But my question is how long should I expect to wait for my bags? And does the gold FF priority baggage mean anything?
Would appreciate your views.
Thanks

There have been quite a few discussions here about how the priority tags often don't seem to work.

Was all the baggage slow or was yours toward the end of the run?

No, all the baggage is delayed. There are crowds of people hanging around the carousels, and and an equal amount of frustrated spouses waiting in cars outside!

The QFF priority tags certainly work at BNE international-they ensure your bags are out last.:)

I can identify with being one of those spouses outside in the car, however the frustration is more at the parking police wanting to move you on & do another lap because you've being waiting too long on the one spot.
