Sydney and melbourne have chairman's lounges in international terminals?

Someone will surely correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding was that there are no separate lounges but that CL's have (anytime) access to the F lounges, and are treated as if they were F pax (eg get called up prior to QF flights and offered pre-booking of spa treatments and such).

As djfuzz said.

Also, you can be escorted to both the lounge, and the aircraft, if required.

Well, I'm feeling like I'm ticking all the CL, P1 & WP boxes tonight.

Currently sitting in the MEL Int F lounge and I'm the only pax here.

Talk about personalised service!

What flight are you waiting for??

It's very nice being the only one in the F lounge - had that in MEL twice now.......

(was also lucky enough to be the only one in the SYD CL once too)....but that was a lucky day ;)

Sounds Asian style. TG do that fanging the F lot around in golf buggys.

Is that regardless you are not disabled or lonely, for QF to escort you?

The "escort" is to be walked to the aircraft and taken to your seat. Quite helpful on a Trans Tasman or 744 flight where Y passengers are on the same aerobridge. There is no standing in line and is rather useful if you want an additional beverage prior to take off.

I think I flew QF29 6 or 7 times last year. Quite often we were the only ones in the lounge. Once we were the only pax in F on the flight. (+1, Son, PA and myself).

Had TG do that for me in J before too, in BKK connecting through to CCU, There was so many golf carts buzzing around It felt like Augusta.

Lets see it as personalized priority boarding.......

Do Emirates do this well?

Well, my illusion of exclusiveness has just been shattered.

Not one, but TWO other pax have just walked into the lounge.

I'm most probably going to have to share my premium economy cabin with them as well.

Ahh I should have guessed! Pity it changes to a 14:30 departure from April.

How dare they invade your personal space? ;)
Enjoy the trip :)
