Hi everyone,

I was status matched last September to Virgin Platinum. I travel a fair bit for work, and have been flying Virgin exclusively since my match to try and keep my status - Flexi fares where I can, for the additional credits.

I have done some forecasting and I don't think I will be able to get the status credits I need by 30 Sept to maintain Platinum - will probably fall about 200SC's short.

What I am wondering, if I don't reach the required amount - will I automatically drop back to "Gold" ? (I was "Red" before my status match).

And also, do I need to get 500SC's for Gold - or 400SC's ?? I am alittle confused as to what would apply falling from Platinum, as the Virgin website says "initially require 500SC's for Gold, and to maintain Gold 400SC's" - or words to that effect.

Would appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks in advance,

Brooke

It is a soft landing, so you only fall back one level at a time.
