Does anybody know why W on AA is a non-earning bucket for QFF, but seemingly lower buckets (such as V, G, N and S) are eligible?

Thanks in advance...

AA W class is not relevant to PE. (Of course, W being PE on QF earns quite well with AAdvantage.)

It's an economy fare, generally among the lowest cost of the 'discount' fare buckets (not "deep discount").

Earning is 1 EQP/EQM/RDM with AAdvantage.

It does not earn with QFF as AA choose not to pay QFF for travel on it.

Thanks serfty. I had a feeling that the answer may be that simple (even if the logic as to why some deep discount fares earn when some discount fares don't remains unexplained).

Similarly, O class on QF earns with AAdvantage whereas the generally more expensive N class on QF does not.
