Does anyone know if this is possible to purchase for a reasonable amount ??

Domestic or international? And what airline are you flying with?

There are reports that you can get into the international koru lounge if you pay $55, but I don't think it is formally advertised. There is an airport run pay lounge called emperor lounge situated where the Emirates lounge use to be.

Domestically I'm not sure.

Flying Air NZ domestic.

You bought up another matter.... you indicate that the Emirates lounge has moved...is this recent (last year or so) and if so where has it moved to.(i'm flying EK F home)

The Emirates lounge at Auckland moved about a year ago. It use to be near the bottom of the escalators. It moved up a level and now has windows. There is more sapce but it can be still be quite cramped. Emirates only have three flights a day from Auckland and they all leave within a 45 minute period. Given they are 777s and 380s you get quite a few people in the lounge when the flights are full.

Turn right after Security/Immigration. The lounges are clearly signposted

Thanks Richie, I usually fly EK but must admit havent been back home for about 18 months. will be nice to see the new rooms

And they are currently serving Veuve Clicquot

With the new EK lounge, they have taken up a fair of the upper level space. "Spinnakers" bar has gone.

The EK lounge is accessed by taking the same escalator up to where the Qantas and Air NZ lounges have been long time.

At the top of the escalator, the Qantas lounge can be seen straight ahead with the NZ lounge behind you - turn right and the EK lounge entrance is along another 10-15 metres.

It has somewhat better views than the QF and NZ lounges.

As for paid lounge access domestically, this is available at NZ international lounges, but I don't believe so domestically.
