I am the primary Flybuys cardholder in my Household so I handle the points. To my horror, I looked at my flybuys account online to check my accounts balance to find points missing. I initially could not work it out but then looked at my rewards history and found that three 10 dollars off rewards were used at Coles and then matched this the location used to find that my sister was using the rewards!

Ok I was very peeved off with my sister who claimed the checkout staff just asked does she want 10 dollars off without explaining it used points (I reckon she knew what she was doing considering she did it 3 times in four days). But my main gripe is with Flybuys, and how they can let an additional cardholder access the points for their own use? Also what would happen if I or someone in my family lost their card? Theoretically someone could raid my account of points by making a number $10.05 purchases at Coles Supermarkets!

Not Happy Coles, YOU FAIL!!!

No its their failure. For example if you have a Coles MasterCard, the supplementary card also has the primary cardholders Flybuys barcode on the back of the supp card which means even if additional cardholders are not allowed to access the points of the primary account the supp card holder can still redeem points off the account.

BTW my sister's card has been repossessed as I don't need her meager amount of points.
