Good to know the front wheel and gear can take a hefty bump… shame about the crumple (but on certain 737’s it’d just split into 3 pieces :p)
 
Wonder how a 787 would have handled that being non metal?

All passengers off safely but a bit of damage to the aircraft..

They won't let the work experience kid do the landings anymore will they.
 
Any idea what happened to the airframe? Was it repaired & put back into service?
 
This only happened last week I think so nothing much will have happened yet apart from a lot of investigating

ouch. watched this just before I jumped on a 767. That had to hurt the pax (even all strapped in). Surely some whiplash cases?
 
Comments at the Aviation Herald are tending towards a write off, but of course I’m not suggesting anyone commenting there is any more in the know than here...

For most people concerned, if it can't be fixed with lots of duct tape, it's a write off. :mrgreen:
