In and Out Burger

In-N-Out is the ideal spot to go after a Costco visit if you find yourself at Washington and Lincoln in Culver City which is about 12 minutes north of LAX. This one is just next door to Marina Del Rey where you turn right off Lincoln (Highway One) into Washington.
Dinner for two generally runs at sub eight bucks and the crowd is amazing if you park and walk in. This place is really a great place to see a cross section of the American population. I think our last visit cost $6.57 for two.

In out Burger GOOD
Jonny Rockets GOOD
Wendys GOOD

Arbys BLAH
Jack In the box BLAH

:-)

Jimmy Johns and Firehouse Subs for way better than Subway subs. But if you go into Jimmy Johns, be prepared to be welcomed by everyone!

From what I remember, In-n-out was alright, but other good ones to look for are:
- Five Guys
- Fatburger
- The Counter (sweet potato fries with horseradish mustard and chipotle mayo)

I'll take In & Out over Grilld.

I was actually craving it just the other day ;).

That said - In & Out and Grilld are two very different products.

For the record: Double-Double with grilled onions and Animal Fries ;)

A bit closer to home is the legendary FURGBURGER over in ZQN. Guaranteed 20 minute line up every day of the week but 110% worth it.

No trip to ZQN is complete without a visit.

Others have said it ... You have to do it so I hope you enjoy it.

The great thing about food is that your fine dining experience can be great, everything looking pretty and beautifully cooked with the appropriate flair and perfect mix of complimentary flavours and textures. Then for your next meal you can eat a burger or hot dog or something from a dirty Asian roadside stall and they give you just as much pleasure for a fraction of the fine dining price.

Enjoy your burger!

Photo from my trip a few months ago, 1 hour after landing in LAX...

My burger was the single pattie, I couldn't do the double double after the flight/food/wine

Cheers for the tip cove.
I might have to try it out at the end of this year/early next year.

Fergburger.....best burger I've ever eaten. Had one a day for a week when I was there. So delicious. Makes all other burgers look silly
