In London before the Olympics?

Two more in the city tomorrow night!
There is a bit of a crowd coming from Perth for the water polo. Our friends have a son and a daughter playing.
We heard there are unsold tickets heading back to London so maybe we won't need to deal with scalpers.

Super, super jealous cove.
Hope you all have an amazing time and I get to hear all about it back in PER :)

I guess you cannot get away with a life sized photo at work so that is tough when you are an employed Princess!
We are hoping to test SQ Suites tomorrow....I do hope Mrscove will be a little more forgiving after this with Citibank who is a key travel supplier.

Finally have some Olympic tickets! Korea v NZ and Australia v S Africa : Mens Hockey. Awesome!

Given that's the main sport I was originally trying to get tickets for, I'm a very happy man

Rumour is more tickets are being returned to London by nations that could not sell their allocation.
Hockey is a great game to watch live.
We are due to leave Perth in an hour.

Yeh, it's been in the news re: tickets.

Indeed, being a former player (it's impossible to find a club in central London so haven't played in a few years...).

Save travels cove and mrs cove from FW & FW+1

Just received an email from London 2012 Ticketing saying that they have tickets for women's volleyball and football (they have still not sold those tickets - even though they have written off 500K and will close down some parts of some stadiums), AND they still have tickets for men's volleyball between GB and Australia in Earls Court on 31st July! Very tempting, but maybe not!

As said before we got tickets to football in Old Trafford in Manchester. We bought B tickets (mid-range, A tickets dearest, C tickets cheapest), and they gave us seats on the top tiers (the highest seats)! I said to hubby whether we would be able to see anything? He said, probably not, but at least we will try to enjoy the 3-hour train trip from London to Manchester with Virgin trains!

Glad I'm not the only one with this luck, purchase platinum tickets and end up sitting in the very last row! Shepas and oxygen required to get to the seat.
