No problem giving them out chrisb, it's just not for me. The poor folks in cattle class can manage without a change of clothes and seem to do OK (hell I'm one of them most of the time). I have a set of QF PJ's I wear at home when it gets really cold.

Is it a J class thing you do because you can ?
I actually take a pair of SQ first PJ's I was given some years ago - I change into them on any long haul flight and in any class.

If I can see your testicl_s while walking down the aisle, you picked the wrong shorts to wear.

If your shorts are so tight I know what religion you are, you picked the wrong shorts to wear.

...

Once I was seated next to a fit young guy who changed into compression gear - full length tights and long-sleeve top. Not entirely sure what that was about...and yes, in business class.

I would posit that the gentleman may have participated in some form of strenuous exercise that day - keeping muscles warm can help prevent them feeling tight in the 12-48 hours after heavy exercise.

There is a theory that wearing compression tights helps combat jet lag. The compression gear is supposed to aid blood circulation and reduce swelling.

Slightly OT, on a recent JAL flight NRT/SYD the Japanese chap across from me stowed his gear then changed in to his own pj's and dressing gown (at the seat). As soon as the seat belt sign went off, on went his eye mask and mouth mask, back went the seat and he slept all the way to SYD.

Offended, no; envious - hell yeah.
