The Best and worst Hotel

[*]Apollo resort Wamberal (just North of Terrigal, NSW): I cannot put it into words. Just look it up on Tripadvisor, probably one of the worst hotels ever seen on that website.
[*]Hotel "Grand" Chancellor Auckland Airport: Calls itself a 4 Star but offers below youth hostel quality. Such a trashy place, hard to believe!

thanks Berlin, tears rolling down the princess cheeks at the Tripadvisor reviews of the "Apollo Resort"
Having stayed at the AKL Grand Chancellor I totally concur, it's woeful

I don't stay at expensive hotels and it would be a close tie if I were to name my best hotel.

I have never stayed in hostels but I have stayed in a lot of ordinary hotels and have enjoyed my stay in most of them except for one in Brussels in the red light district (forget name) and another in Athens the Plaza hotel (not the Plaza strand) was a dive.

Having stayed at the AKL Grand Chancellor I totally concur, it's woeful
Really? I stayed 2 nights there in 2008 and it wasn't too bad but then I do not have high expectations.
