Can anyone recommend a really nice hotel in Sydney? I have a hot date and my usual haunts just aren't suitable.
Somewhere classy with a large spa is the goal. The budget tops out at $500 a night and a QFF partner is a must.

I've been looking on websites, but as I am treating a very special someone, I don't want to rely solely on images.

Thanks in advance.

(sorry if this is posted to the wrong board)

Large Spa in the room ????

Shame those rooms don't have Spas in them. For what I'm intending, it would be best if the Spa was inside the bounds of my hotel room, yes.

Hilton Relaxation Suite has a fantastic double spa (not in the room though) with a window overlooking the city

You def want to stay in Sydney? A drive to the Blue Mountains and Wolgan Valley resort is very special

Where is it if not in the room?

And unfortunately it's a brief stopover before I hit the road again, so it has to be Sydney. I actually have a unit in Sydney, but I want something special for someone who is very tolerant of me being on the road 90% of the year.

LOL I just re read what i had written...sounded very silly indeed!
The Relaxation Suite (don't get it confused with the Relaxation Room...which itself has a very nice deep bath about 2 feet away from the bed in an open plan bedroom/bath plan) has a lounge with sliding doors, bedroom, and off the bedroom is the bathroom with the huge spa with window in front, plus shower, sink, door all enclosed. It is big enough on the edges for candles (Hilton offer special in House Spa Preparations includings Candles etc if you want) and some nice bath salts.

If you go to Trip Advisor and then Hilton Sydney..and then traveller photos.
Scroll into bathroom and there are some pics of the spa there

The Hilton Relaxation Suite is gorgeous.... And doesn't suffer from a size issue like the majority of the rooms in this hotel.

The Hilton Relaxation Suite is definitely the way to go... but budget may be an issue as they are usually $600-700 / night.

If you are HH diamond can you get upgraded to the hilton relaxation suite?

Personally can't go past the beds at the Sofitel, and I also really like the Shangri La in Sydney, but no idea if either offers rooms with spas.

Not necessarily, however if you really want the room you can pay for the e stand by discounted rate which you're usually guaranteed to get.
There are some good advance purchase rates available depending on the date, and sometimes just under $500 for the night.

Sofitel rooms do not have spas. No idea re the Shangri La.
If the OP really wants QFF points, may have to compromise on hotel
