Best advice: Travel

Worst advice: you're getting too old for this

Best: Don't go to France
Worst: Go to France*

*This post was brought to you in conjunction with the "Close The Channel Tunnel Society" and the "Hundred Years War was Five Hundred Years too short Association." :p

Best: you must go to Vegas once in your life

Worst: take your 2 year old to Europe for Xmas, it will be fine (hell on earth flights, actually over there was fine)

Best advice - Your worst fears are rarely realised.

Worst Advice - your worst fears will be realised.....

yes make sure its just once to Vegas.....i found more enlightenment driving through Arizona with the top down on a clear day.

Best: when overseas (especially in Asia) eat what the locals eat.
Worst: "No, don't bother trying to change your seat, you'll be fine in the middle of the middle row, at the back of the plane, for > 10 hours!"

Best advice - fly Alitalia (OK that bit wasn't so great) and spend a week in Italy on my very first trip to Egypt
Worst advice - "you won't need a visa or anything like that when transiting through Miami" (from Grand Cayman to London) - Wrong!!! fortunately I was able to keep "discussing" it with them for five hours until my flight to London was departing rather than them deport me on the next flight going anywhere like they kept threatening to do!

Best: JFDI (travel, that is). Tho I think I gave it to myself.
Worst: Sure, take an 18mth old on flights in Y straight through to LHR. And if that isn't fun enough, don't pack spare clothes for yourself in-flight. Oh, and then to make it more fun, try to put toddler to sleep in coughpy EUR40/night cubby room and can't get her to sleep til after 10pm. Then wake up at 2am the next morning to go to an ANZAC day Dawn service.
Oh hang on, not advice, just what we did. But I'd do it again, just not book that cheapo hotel with a toddler again.

Best advice:Never trust anyone that approaches you offering something
Worst advice: You can't catch AIDS if your drunk

Best advice: fly as close to the pointy end as possible

Worst advice: cheap fares are great (LCC)

It is I, Leclerc !
