Looking for a price ( dates flex)asia to ROME dept Aug 3rd, return MANCHESTER -Asia September 7th, Business class, as we live in Perth I have tried Going fro Bali ( DPS ) can get around $ 4000 , prepaired to pay for Recomendation.

If you are happy to fly Y class out of Perth to an Asian port, then J class to Europe you will save a lot. You have time to keep looking out for specials. In the past two months I have flown from SIN or JKT to Europe on Finn Air and Turkish Airline - both as good if not better than QF (IMHO). If you have time, play around with various combinations. For example, I have to go from Jakarata to Istanbul and the Turkish Airline flight goes JKT-SIN-IST for half the price than if you buy the same flight but just the SIN-IST leg.

Out of Perth Garuda doesn't fly direct to Jakarta (always via DPS).
I suggest you keep checking options from SIN, KUL or HKG to European ports near Rome in the next few months. Subscribe to e-alerts for sales from the airlines and you are likely to find useful deals. Often I just add a separate booking of PER to Sin/KUL/HKG on Y.
