I've been told that the Navitare data center is having issues and a few other carriers are also affected (not sure who else apart from Virgin, Jetstar use Naivtare)
AFAIK, Rex and Tiger do

Here is a list of what airline uses what: Computer reservations system - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia much most of the carriers using Navitaire are LCC/Budget carriers, I guess that's why VA use it....
According to Navitaire , Qantas and Qantas link also use it
I thought Virgin were in the process of switching to Sabre. At least that's what I heard when they rebranded.
Update: Apparently a Power Failure at a data centre in Sydney is the cause of everyone's pain this morning.
Why a single power failure to cause so much havoc I don't know....
You'd have thought they'd have a second data centre somewhere else that could be switched to...
Thats would you would think!
They really need to make sure the switch to Sabre happens on time, as while they continue to use Navitare they will continue to look like a LCC to some degree.
Just like Amadeus made Qantas look like an LCC when it crashed back in July?
All systems have troubles from time to time. That's why they have manual processes in place.
