Has anyone experienced how strict JAL are in their lounges for QFF? Have one platinum member and one gold member in a party of 4 adults / 3 children. I wonder if they will let us all in whilst we wait at Narita for a connection? I guess it depends on if they count the 8,7 and 4 yr olds?

I found them very welcoming for OW Emerald but that was me and +1 only but I'd very much doubt that they'd let that number into their F Lounge. You might have more luck at the business lounge as the Gold could also guest in.

I suspect their preparedness to extend additional guest entry to the kiddies will very much depend on how full the lounge is at the time.

The QF business lounge at Narita is often very full and unimpressive.

I suspect given QF has a lounge at NRT that is going to be the best chance

Yes the JAL lounge is much nicer than the QF/JQ lounge, as you would expect.

They count child (over 3 y.o.) as one guest.
I think impossible to accommodate all of your gests.

JAL issue guest passes for only their FF member that their family can stay together.

OMG!!! They are strict and they don't bend the rules.. But with one WP and one gold you should be right? Good luck..

Welcome to AFF koakun, and thanks for the advice to the OP, even if it is what they don't want to hear. :)
