Hi, I've booked a few nights in Mercure Sapporro and Nagoya. I am a platinum member. Will like to hear from and fellow AFF if they have been upgraded during their stay in Mecure hotels in Japan or other parts of the world. Thanks.

Upgrades are only at Sofitel, Pullman and MGallery, and are on request.

Don't ask, don't get.

As for Mercure, no real benefits there.
