Although I've had a premium EF subscription for a while I've really only used it as a glorified timetable. Now I want to book some AA award tickets which should become available, timewise, in a month or so and I'm doing some experimentation.

Can someone help me with this question? As an experiment I've checked up on AA and found Z and U availabilty on a number of dates. When I go to EF the only availabilty appears to be F and J on those dates. I wanted to set up some alerts but can I rely on AA to actually tell me of Z and U avaiability should it appear?

I should add that the flights I'm looking at are operated by BA.

Hi turtlemichael, as is noted at the top of the Award & Upgrade results page: "American Award & Upgrade availability is not valid for codeshares." So you can search for AA operated flights only using the AA Award search on ExpertFlyer. To make it easier to sort thru the results, we have an "Exclude Codeshares" option on the search page.
