We stay for 2 nights & for $US45 a night we score the family room (number 19) at the bottom level- huge room, rock included- see photo, big bed with spare single, no air con needed, sitting lounge included, weak water pressure but hot water is ok. Half board deal again & the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] night curry is good with better chicken included. There is a bus load of Czech Republics pushing around making a lot of noise when we arrive around 5pm but they go very quiet by 9pm after drinks & food. Beer was good but eventually next bottle (4[SUP]th[/SUP]) offered was warm so we sat outside, watched the lightning, the moon rise & drank duty free.
Next day breakfast was great, fried eggs, plenty of toast, good fruit plate & big pot of tea. We decide to move to room 8 -certainly smaller but an improved bed, shower curtain, now above the dining room rather than below & there is a great little private balcony for sitting outside-when downstairs, the people from the no view rooms tended to congregate right outside your room.
Lunch of Chinese chicken noodles (excellent) & sweet & sour chicken is a step up on previous meals with better cuts of chicken. The 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] evening meal of Chinese noodles & chicken tika seemed to also be good quality. Onion soup is provided both nights & the ice cream & fruit salad is also a winner.
