It looks like more and more hotels are bringing this back so I am going to create a sticky where we can keep track of these! Essentially they are free drinks and nibbles for PC members!

Tuesdays and Fridays/Saturdays - 6-7PM

Brisbane used to do this on Thursday nights. Is this still happening?

I see you hae listed the Darwin IHG properties. Does one have to be staying to participate? I would be in for drinks at Brisbane HI if they are on and someone is itaying there.

Melbourne CP is Wednesday nights 6pm - 7pm. David the Manager is lovely. Rachael, Stuart and Gus were all in attendance this week and a nice time was had by all. Thanks CP

Funny it was on Wednesday night, but they moved it to Tuesday as there were too many airline staff and not enough hotel guests on a Wed.

Not sure if this is still the case. Have only stayed weekends the last couple years - yes I've actually done weekends in TSV - so haven't been there for yonks.

HI Darling Harbour has a "Manager's Reception" on some Wednesday evenings. I don't think its weekly, but seems to be more often than monthly. PC members receive an invitation either at check-in or under the room door. Starts 6pm and runs to about 7:30pm and includes drinks and finger food. I'll tell you later in the week if this week is an on or off week.

Damn and I just booked an ibis over that HI. Still even I probably couldn't drink $300 worth in 90 minutes.

Was at the HI Townsville last week and drinks night was on the Wednesday from 1730 - 1830 in the Shiraz bar. Not sure if it was a one off but the invite was worded as though it was a regular thing.
