Hi all,
I know it is 4 months' away...I'm transitting through London en route back to Sydney from Dublin on Sunday 3rd May, with a long layover. I land at Lhr at 1020am, and my flight back to Oz is at 925pm. I would like to organise a lunch around 1pm somewhere in downtown London, preferrably within walking distance of a tube station on the Piccadilly line (but not essential, as long as near a tube station) I'm hoping to catch up with any London based AFFers eg Mal, Flashback and any one else in London or visiting...please indicate your interest and I hope the London based AFFers can recommend a suitable venue:idea:

So far for Sun 3rd May London lunch....:

Confirmed:

kpc
Mal

Tentative:
Flashback + Mrs FB

Possible:
vitagen

Count me in. Plenty of choices re location, while many places In central London are shut on Sundays, there's enough left to give plenty of choice.

Count me as tentative for now. It's a bank holiday long weekend here.... so likely to be away. That being said I'm cutting back on travel a little this year so there's every chance I may be here.... will pencil in.

+ Mrs FB also.

I'd have to fly to LHR just for this lunch.
Is it a sign of how many miles I have earned, bought and stored that it's tempting ? :)

Ok, since kpc and Medhead are getting in I'm in town at the end of March 29th/30th at this stage I think if anyone's around.

Damn everybody else is getting in with dates - I just wish I was flying through LHR this year :(

Also doable! I have a rare Saturday morning hockey game (usually afternoon) so that leaves most of the weekend free for me.

So do Mrs FB and I!

Hmm, the amaroos arrive 26th - depart 29th (April) ... will be back for Xmas though.

I'm in Europe from march 29 to may 4.... Very interested if I can match my itinerary!

We'll be around then also.

As usual I leave out information. I was lamenting that I could've extended my return by a few days and got myself to LHR. But at this stage I'm only visiting the continent. Paris for 1.25 days including handbag shopping (18-19/4). Then Bruges conferencing, then Turkey.

Now that I write it down, I can't imagine why I'm visiting Europe and not the UK.

I'm locked in for a JASA to HKG that weekend ... so enjoy guys ...

Not that I am that familiar with the Heathrow airport but it looks like I will not be able to make the lunch at 1pm . It looks more like 2pm before I will be able to join you ...I will go direct from the heathrow arrival to xx_! ....just in time for desert

The time and venue has not been set yet...even it is 1pm, arriving at 2pm will NOT be a problem :)
