Destination will be on the Piccadilly line in Central London, or a short walk from it. It is still undecided, but before the date I will confirm a location with kpc for his approval.

G'day Mal. I reckon that The Brewhouse and Kitchen in Torrens St Islington (Islington Brewhouse & Kitchen – Microbrewery & Pub) is worth consideration. I had dinner there last Oct. It's a microbrewery and the beer is great and food good also. It is behind Angel tube. I walked from Kings Cross tube and from memory it was about a 15-20 min walk (probably around 1.5 km). You could also catch the bus down Pentonville Rd (around two stops I'm guessing) or Northern Line (one stop) if you don't want the exercise. Kings Cross tube is probably at least an hour tube ride from Heathrow so depends if there is enough time.

Aye yai yai. I would have liked to head to London for lunch, but I have a commitment on Monday. It is scary that I checked my calendar, 'though.

Is it scary? I'm just discussing approval to change flights with SWMBO.

You aren't the only one, although I'm already half-way there.

hmmmmm........

hmmmmm........

TripIt advises me that I depart ATL on 1st May.....

I have not yet booked my return, but 'could' route via LHR possibly........

Still on for this venue?
Looked the travel up on Google and it looks like just over an hour to get there from Heathrow
So it still looks like 2pm arrival

kpc, was going to drop you a message - I may be a scratching for this. When are you around from/till?

Drat, that's what I thought. We've some friends over now and I've been summonsed to Lego Land. When do you expect to leave the city to head back to LHR?

My flight is at 920pm....so probably leave the city no later than 5pm alliwing an hour to get back to LHR, and time for a shower before the flight:)

I'm guessing you probably arrive around 6am or so. Poor planning on my behalf to double book. Question is, do I keep kpc happy or do I keep Mrs Flashback happy?

I'm sure that it's in yours and Mrs Flashback's best interests that we just assume this is a rhetorical question ;)
