Location:

Georges Paragon Restaurant
Level 1
45 Eagle Street
BRISBANE QLD 4000

Sat 12 July / 12 noon for 10 pax
Table booked under 'Australian Frequent Flyer'

Being CBD it is central for everyone to get to when we live in all directions. Closest train station is Central.

For those who are driving in you can get meter parking at Kangaroo Point near the Holman St Wharf then take the free city hopper ferry across the river to the Eagle Street Pier which is very close to the restaurant.

Meter parking is $1.60 per hour during the week but not sure if it's free on the weekends or not.

I wasn't aware that In-n-Out had opened a store in BNE... :p

It's my mom's birthday but she's overseas so I should be able to make it...

Hong Kong is easier for me :p :p

I'm interested but not committed at the moment - will depend on what's happening that weekend.

Sounds good although it'll just be me as +1 will be working that day.

Any ideas on the venue eg Portside Wharf at Hamilton or somewhere in the CBD like George's Paragon Restaurant on the Brisbane River. You can parking relatively cheaply at Kangaroo Point then take the free ferry across the river.

Parking at port side is free with reasonable overflow. ( unless there is a cruise ship in)

My only experiences with Byblos have been coughtail ( Christmas) party style, was underwhelmed every time. I was a fan of Gusto Da Gianni. But it was a bit below par on our last visit. Not sure about Byblos for a la carte. The steak house ( Belvedere bar and grill) on the other side was good though. I recently had an old school reunion there, and while they offered alternate drop ( which I loath) the food was good.
