I know I bang on about it endlessly, but has anyone else had a platter and tasting at Two Hands? It is awesome!

The next tour in the planning is in January, McLaren Vale. Something special thrown in too IMHO.

Could this be the one after that, with another Rockford visit?
The only problem with Rockford is the number of guests that the Stonewall Room can accommodate, not the number I can take.

Please see post #3 for full details.

Re: Barossa Valley Premium Wine Tasting and Lunch [Sun 10th Aug]

I rang the coach company today and have booked the coach again this time for Sunday January 18.
All I am saying at this stage is McLaren Vale but I am certain you all know that already.

If you are interested pencil in that date and keep an eye on the social calendar or your inbox.

Re: Yarra Valley Wine Tasting and Lunch (Sunday 30 November)

Announcing the first wine tour of 2015!

McLaren Vale with a Twist, Sunday 18[SUP]th[/SUP] January

After departing opposite the Adelaide Convention Centre at 09:15 sharp on our luxury 50 seater coach, we set off for a pleasant drive to the southern vales.
Commencing at 11:00 we are booked in for tasting at Serafino Wines (formerly McLarens on the Lake) followed by local McLaren Vale platters for lunch in their magnificent dining room.
At around 13:30 we board our coach again for a short drive to Leconfield, home of Hugh Hamilton Wines.
So what’s the twist???
Well, after heaps of negotiation with 2 wineries and forced to spend a Sunday afternoon chatting to the cellar door master Josh, we bribed, er, convinced Josh to open Kays Amery Kay Brothers Amery cellar door for us at 10:15 for a private tasting. It is a magnificent location so bring your camera as there is a lot of history of the Kays family contained within the cellar door.
The cost of this event is $75.00 per head and includes the following:

  • Private tasting at Kays Amery
  • Wine tasting at Serafino Wines
  • Share platters for lunch at Serafino Wines
  • Wine tasting at Leconfield
  • Luxury coach including airport drop off on return
Tickets to this much anticipated event are on sale now and are strictly limited to 25 pax.
Tickets available from trybooking HERE

There is also an event on Saturday 17[SUP]th[/SUP]January at Casablabla for those interested.
Tickets for Casablabla are available HERE
Please note that trybooking might charge a credit card fee and that tickets are not refundable.

Please mark me down as Platinum for this event. Will do the booking tomorrow. Sounds like great trip.

Very tempted, but having done a couple of these I feel like I should give others a chance! If you don't "sell out" Buzz, I might change my mind.

What is the latest time the coach will drop us off at Adel airport on the Sun afternoon Buzz? There is a QF flight at 1740 (and a later one at 1855) to Syd but as you know I have a flight from Syd to Sin the next am so just seeing if I can make this work :)

There's also a VA flight leaving Adel at 1825 if this gives more leeway...
