This dinner is the first of two events being organised by FT user boxo in Melbourne.

Logistics for tonight:
I have booked a table at 6:30pm at Trunk under my name. It is in the "mail hall" (inside the building).

For those in the city, I suspect the first few starters will arrive around 6pm. The table would probably be ready then, either way there is an adequately stocked bar to keep you folks occupied.

I will do my best to arrive by 6:30pm. As I mentioned earlier I am travelling from an "offsite" location, so will drive home, park my car and catch the train in.

I have PMed my cellphone number to everyone listed as attending. See you all tonight

Hmmm. Tiger can get me there but they will only bring me back at 7:40pm so does not leave that much time for drinks.

Given their check in cut-off is 45 minutes prior to departure, and the time requried to get from the city to the airport, I would suggest that you can't make it at all unless you stay the night, or fly a different carrier
