I am seriously in need of a good steak so I intend dining at The Olive Tree on Thur May 28 approx 8pm - TOT details here - The Olive Tree | The Olive Tree Restaurant South Melbourne

Will definitely be partaking in pre dinner beverages at either Palmerston Hotel on Kings Way or The Royce on St Kilda Rd and then walking the short distance to TOT.

Any AFF member wishing to join me more than welcome to do so. TOT is fully licensed - reasonable wine list and not grossly overpriced.

My daughter is visiting her brother in Melbourne this week. And they are returning to The Olive Tree for a third visit after the fabulous meals they have had on previous visits; all courtesy of the Bank of Mum. They will miss you by a couple of days.

Now to the fine print:
- Hands up if you are a uber user / uber lover so you can be strucken from attendee list
- Tom / blacky - you will be required to actually talk to each other on the evening and any attempt to communicate with each other via social media is strictly prohibited
- In typical AFF fashion this will be a totally inclusive night - so if penegal does front up can all other attendees please make a concerted attempt to have an intelligent conversation with him - difficult as that may be

I'm sorry to be so late to this thread but I would like to be included a definite for this dinner. A steak at this excellent restaurant, with Cruiser hosting was very hard to resist, but of course I had to emulate my good friend, Mr Penegal, in staying incognito copper for a few days. Look forward to seeing you all, and if possible getting to the Royce beforehand.
