Anyone interested?

No idea about venue so looking for suggestions.

I am looking to play a couple of games of golf that weekend. I have not thought of where I will be staying yet but will have a hire car.

Bugger , would have been a handy trip to finally meet some AFF folk !! Have a weekend playing over west at Joondalup and Kennedy Bay instead , a fairly acceptable reason for not attending however. Where are you playing on the coast?

I'm interested but not in golf though... Here's hoping the weather then will be much like this week!

Yes to dinner; I am Platinum if it is on, I will be up there anyway.

No to golf.

Spirit house at Yandina?

Good idea. I rarely go out when up on the SC!

Surf Club or pub sounds the G.O.!

Not sure I can come, but Zachary's on Hastings Street in Noosa fits the casual drinks/food criteria.

Undecided. I will be looking to play somewhere in the members comp on both days. More than likely not the resort courses.

Have you considered Pacific Harbour on Bribie Island ? very challenging

I'll say I'm a maybe for this - too far out to confirm. May bring the wife and kids up as well, or if that doesn't work, I'll come by myself. As likely to be a late night, will look for accom near the venue, as rolling in late to aunt (Yandina) or uncle & aunts' place (Noosa Springs) probably isn't the done thing :o...

Hoping I can attend this one. Will keep the date in the diary and try to work things around it.

JK, the new Horton Park GC is due to open June 2015 and looks like a great AFF event for the future...

As Sunshine Coast locals we would love to attend BUT have family celebrations in MEL that weekend.

In regards to golf, mid-coast are Mt Coolum Mt Coolum Golf Club or Perigian Springs: Golf and, if you like hills, Nambour (further inland): Home - Nambour Golf Club

Mind you those are family/friend recommendations as we live a block away from Twin Waters GC but don't play golf. Love to meet everyone next time.

JohnK only a month away, are you still keen for this event.

Definitely. I have just come back from Thailand where I played 8 games of golf in the past 10 days and a trip to HKG/ICN in between.

I am back in Brisbane on Tuesday and will start to plan the golf and accommodation for the weekend.

I think the Surf Club sounds good for drinks and bistro(ey) type of food.

Any other suggestions welcome.
