There are a few surf club or hotel type bistro places. Depends if you want to sit looking over a marina or the beach. As for the golf, not sure where to play on a Saturday. I moved here 3 years ago, but have only just started to get back into the golf. I usually have a hit at Headland golf club on a Sunday ($20 for 9 holes after midday).

Depending on where family is this weekend I might just fit it between an AM shift on the Sat and a PM on the Sunday!

I'll say I'm a maybe for this - too far out to confirm. May bring the wife and kids up as well, or if that doesn't work, I'll come by myself. As likely to be a late night, will look for accom near the venue, as rolling in late to aunt (Yandina) or uncle & aunts' place (Noosa Springs) probably isn't the done thing :o...
I'm now in extreme doubt as I checked the Social Calendar at home and the Director has annoted that it's her fathers' 80th birthday. I'd be hung, drawn, quartered and if I somehow survived, the locks would be changed. Lucky I checked first :o...

I'll probably be in the area, so if it works out would love to meet some of the local (or visiting) luminaries....

Only a week or so away. Any recommendations for venue?

I am booked for a 12:00noon tee time at Nambour Golf Club on Saturday. Course looks really nice on internet.

Sorry misunderstood that. Golf on the Sunday? For a casual eat/drink location, I would suggest the Kawana Pub, bistro style overlooking the marina. Not really a pub, more of a tavern.

Golf on Saturday. I am not staying overnight. I am heading back to Brisbane after drinks/dinner.

Kawana Pub sounds good. I am not sure who is going to turn up. Do we need to book?

Ok, we can book, and I can do so if I know numbers. Please let me know by next Monday (14/7/2014) and I can book a table.

I am a definite and Airwin is a possible. I am not sure about anyone else.

I'm still only a maybe for this.

I've got a client lunch booked - track record is not the best for anything other than sleeping after such an event.

Have a "thing" earlier that day. Will confirm next week. Almost certain to be there!

there is a vague notion of me being in that neck of the woods that day, apparently. Grandma duties at Aus Zoo beckon .. BVT - met you last lunch at BNE .. I was across and to your right :)

See you on Saturday, perhaps.
