Pretty late notice, not many takers for this week. Perhaps defer until next week when QF WP might be in town.

Good to see you at ADL QC this morning. Confirming I'll be in SYD next week and should be there until Wed at least so I'm in. Any suggestions for dinner? If not, anyone up for the Thai food at the QVB again? I'm really not fussed but somewhere not too far from HSYD would be wonderful

I'd be pretty happy with either Thai on Tuesday or trivia on Wednesday.
I'm actually in Sydney on Thursday night next week as well. (and thursday is a tax deduction)

I am due to meet clients @ Parramatta on Tuesday afternoon/evening and will be 2-3 hours, then catching up with Dave Noble. Pretty sure I'll stay out at Parramatta (given the likely time of finishing dinner + walking around Parramatta @ night, plus expected cost saving on HI Parramatta v Hilton)

Unfortunately I'm a Bronze (maya tinge of Silver). Might ring kpc whilst you're at dinner to say hi instead.

Oops, sorry I should have typed Monday night as the night I'm in SYD. At 7pm Tuesday I'll be boarding my flight home, so I'll be having a meal onboard, but not as good as yours...

Would anyone still be keen to meet up if its rescheduled to Wed or Thu evening? I'm still trying to get there Tue but can't confirm until Mon.

Was that the overlords or the overloads ?? I am in Sydney and would be interested in Monday or Wednesday at QVB. Of course if you want to explore Sydney with a quick and cheap train ride to Lindfield I can introduce you to the best pizza in Sydney.

There is another Thai restaurant in the Rocks which is owned by AFF member Homer. I have eaten there quite a few times now. The food is great, although it's a little more exxy than Assamm, although their rent would be higher I think.

There is another Thai restaurant in the Rocks which is owned by AFF member Homer. I have eaten there quite a few times now. The food is great, although it's a little more exxy than Assamm, although their rent would be higher I think.

If Homer's place has a BYO option it might be a plus but we probably should encourage our own. Perhaps they can do us a deal. The Rocks is only a short walk for those staying at the Hilton.

Would be keen to try an AFFer's restaurant if possible. Would a poll/doodle help with an indication of interest for the next one (presumably month of July)? Just a thought!
