I was talking with Dot the other night and he showed me this website:
Home
As he was looking at doing a flight on one. I am cetainly looking at doing one!
They are looking at doing historic flights next year in March.
So question is, should we organise an AFF "meet" and travel somewhere for the day?

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. And quite possibly for the last time. Is an experience like this, one you will remember forever, something that you can let slip by?
These flights are also our chance to "show off" a little. We can guarantee you that you will not find a better, and more stylish way to travel than on board our DC-6B. Our cabin crew will ensure that you have a memorable flight, led by an experienced Flight Service Director, or Senior Hostess (don't forget, you're back in the Sixties now...) You'll leave the world behind for a few hours, sitting in business style seating, enjoying first class meals with beers and wines (not just one!) from real glassware, crockery and cutlery, laid out on table linen.
We're very proud of NOT having an inflight entertainment system. Why do you need one? Take the time to wander the aircraft, visit the coughpit and see how the crew work. While away the time engaging in the endangered art of conversation with your fellow passengers, or with
members of the crew.
