The news has come through via text and Twitter, and I thought it was only fair to return the favour (from http://www.frequentflyer.com.au/com...ations-to-anat0l-reaching-platinum-16367.html).

1400 SC is never easy to get, so

Here's to you Bundy Bear - Congratulations for achieving Qantas Platinum and oneworld Emerald!

Admittedly, Bundy Bear has had his WP credit a lot faster and more gracefully than my case.

Now you can finally get into all those F Lounges by yourself :p ;) as well as any time access to the domestic lounges (yes, all of them!) and hopefully a chance of getting more op-ups.

Welcome to the fold: now I hope you'll be able to stay with us for a while... (after all, 1200 SC is easier to get than 1400 SC...)

Well done and congratulations Bundy Bear.
Enjoy your new found elite status. (One day I know it will be me too!)

Thanks to Oz Fest I can now put a face to your name :)

Another bloody WP... what about me??
Congratulations, and from all twitter reports you had some great fun achieving it on the US trip.

Well done Bundy Bear! I know how hard a slog it is!

Hopefully in a few months I shall be joining you!

Congrats on the 1400 SC's and WP. It's hard to get the first time, but the 1200 to renew does get *slightly* easier. :)

Congratulations! All the ADL-MEL-BNE status run is now paid off!

Congrats & well done.

In response to the thread about the QP being too crowded, at least in the ports with a J lounge, there will now be one less person
