Advice on champagne

I was down at Costco in Marina del Rey, California buying staff chocolates and I saw Moët and Veuve at higher pricing than we have in Australia once you do the currency conversion and the plus tax calculation.
Bought those chocolate macadamias that our staff love.

Having seen it done properly IRL that is indeed a waste.
It's very easy to do IRL!
Done it a few times. Make sure the bottle is cold, strike along the spine. Use the blunt edge of the blade (if using a blade).
If you have a look there are many videos of people using whatever they can get: credit cards, parcel trolleys, snowboards and a popular sabrage method is the base of a wine glass, then pour straight into that glass.
 
Saw a heap of these in Costco, standard price though. Anyone see them at clearance price anywhere? AO is long gone now.

Also Costco Docklands have a special on Mumm $36.79 which is a decent price.
