The 1hr has turned into many many hours. Barely any flights are getting out to mel and people are being booked into hotels and asking for voluntary rebooking to tomorrow.

Apparently it will be completed march or April based on a conversation in the lounge on Monday

Qantas are limiting International First and Business lounge entries for paid and complimentary invitations from 3rd Dec'24 to 15th Jan'25.
Advice from VIP team, once daily number of entries is met, lounge can turn away visitors. The earlier you arrive in the day the better chance for entry. Unsure if this policy effects domestic lounges.
