DejaBrew and DejaBrew + 1 both flying F on JAL. We both had the ability to guest a +1 flying on JL52. If flying OW, then I’m WP and can therefore guest 1.
This is a bit of a complex one.

Oneworld rules allow a first class passenger to bring a guest in provided the guest is also flying a oneworld marketed and operated flight, this doesn't need to be the same flight.

Because the lounge is QF operated your WP status trumps the above and allows you to bring a guest who is flying on a QF flight number (could be operated by a non OW airline like FJ/SB/EK etc), a JQ flight number or a oneworld marketed/operated flight.

Thanks @henrus. So if I understand you correctly, you're saying that we could have guested in a +1 each provided they were flying on another OW flight number?

Yep that is correct, you both could have guested one person who was also flying on a OW flight.

Currently in LAX QF first lounge til QF12 boards. Can guest 2.
Hi Oscarq, just wondering how you were able to guest x2. Ive got a trip coming up with 2 mates and can only guest 1 on my WP, hence having an 'odd man out' haha
