Hi all, I need to get 4 sectors on QF, so I am looking at doing a JASA ex PER early NOV. I was looking at PER-xx_-TSV vv for 320SC for approx 90k all in.

Any boffins seen better SC earn ex PER?

I will be trying to convince someone to come with me, but they don't know about that yet ;-) (That's besides the point but they may read this :))

We discussed this status run with my son who is a NB and out of Perth you could include Townsville to Darwin before it gets too steamy and on the way home go down to Tassie in short hops to pick up Gold status. Markis10 has provided runs in the past that should work a treat for you once you have escaped from Perth.
I think you might go to Adelaide,Sydney,Brisbane,Townsville and Darwin if you are up for it.

Red e Deal to DRW then DRW to TSV then TSV to ADL next day with rededeal home, should be around 38000 points net for 260 SC, or just do a ADL to TSV return for 42000 points for 240 SC.

If you fancy visiting the Red Centre and view 72K + ~$700 as a reasonable investment, I'd previously looked at PER-MEL-ADL-ASP-SYD-MEL-PER for 380 SCs and PER-MEL-SYD-AYQ-SYD-MEL-PER for 400 SCs. While an indirect routing, that's more than four legs. The earn ratio may possibly not be in the spirit of a true JASA run either!

Wow, I'm 320 SC from gold! Alas, I have only 30k points. :)

I did PER-SYD-CNS return and that was 320 SCs, too.. depends where you want to go, really, and why - I prefer CNS to TSV.
Business lounge stops are still a novelty for some of us sandgropers.
Minimum points 72,000, and $250.

Thanks. This actually sounds like fun! PER-MEL-SYD-AYQ-SYD-MEL-PER for 400 seems reasonable. Will look at it tonight.

When is your anniversary for QFF and have you taken out life insurance cough cough.

He'd need to cover 6 lives. I know for a fact he isn't a polygamist. :)

KTA-xPER-xSYD-DRW one way can be had for 24,000 minimum points plus $622. You'll earn 220 SCs plus a fair few points. A WP would almost earn 12,000, I assume you are currently silver so with your bonus you would still earn a fair few.

Then you can do the return as a flexi saver YASA and earn half the SCs (110). But as it is economy so there is only a 12,000 point minimum.

For 36,000 points, plus some cash, positioning flights and maybe hotels you could do it. You just need to get 6000 points from somewhere.

Although having said that, buying a QP membership would be a bit cheaper and give you some of the same benefits.
