Was wondering where Qantas flight crew stay in Singapore? I know it's very close to Chimes? Is it Raffles?

That sort of information is not made public in the interests of personal safety.

I very seriously doubt that QF would put their crews up at Raffles!

I doubt it would be made public and in some cities it changes every on a regular basis.

more importantly why do you want to know....

I once ran into a BA crew at a hotel bar in Nairobi that were flying me home in a couple of days. They upgraded me to J on the plane. This was in 1999 though, so things have changed somewhat since then ...

IIRC it has Raffles in the location/name but it's not the actual Raffles;)

I hope for the sake of all FAs worldwide that nobody here would EVER follow/stalk them.

If you don't know where they stay, you don't need to know.

Poor thread imo.

I think this thread should be locked down.

I don't believe we should ever publish this information.

This info is in the public domain.

Would you put your home address on the forum.

I would not.

you're almost on the right track about it being Raffles...

The hotels used are definitely part of the Raffles owned group - and very close by...one used to be the world's tallest hotel at one stage and is still one of the tallest in SE Asia...hope that helps.

I don't see any harm in sharing this information. What the OP chooses to do with it is up to him, just like what we choose to do with any information on AFF is up to the individual. If you don't like AFF being "in the public domain" then lock it down, member-only access.

i tend to agree, markis can you not use your mod-senses to knock this one on the head? may be best to delete the inadvertent posts that reveal the hotels already...

all fine for you but i doubt QF would make this info public or the FAs themselves would appreciate it...

I have discussed this thread with the Mods and we have decided to keep it open for the time being. AFF is all about sharing information, even if we question the motivation/ethics of individual posts. We will close the thread if we consider it crosses the line from being simply "tacky" to sinister.
