Absolutely impossible. Flight costings are fickle. If you want to use whatever ticket you found cheap, you will have to book another flight MEL - SYD.

I have travelled a bit. For decades. Never knew that some TA's have "contacts". Have experienced "First hosts" with other airlines, never with Qantas. Am unsure what claim is being made here. That a TA can get Qantas staff to pander to a specific traveller? That is amazing.
