Thanks everyone for your replies. Decided on the Hilton Dublin as only 40000 points a night compared to 60000 for the Morrison. Couldn't justify the 50% extra for only 2 nights, especially as points are harder to come by now I'm only Gold and with the A$ rate..

Yep was strange. When i left the Flounge the flight was showing delayed to 2030. Arrived at Emirates lounge and departure was showing at scheduled time of 1945. Asked the lounge angel if this had just changed and she said nope had always been scheduled at 1945 but was now running slightly late...

nope i spoke too soon. Now listed as delayed, departure 2030 as Melburnian1 accurately predicted earlier.. as a side note, lounge very quiet tonight, all of 12 us enjoying the ambiance this evening
