MAS Business points given as Flexible Economy

3K don't have a "so called" business. Unless you mean JQ on the 787?

    JQ Fleet renewal

The XLRs will be able to do CNS-NRT-KIX. HNL was rumoured to be dropped pre covid. So they either move to being an all A320/321 operator or the 787s find some new routes. Given SYD-ICN has been announced I reckon the latter is the more likely.

REX signs interline agreement with Delta, effective Q3 2022

All interline does is facilitate the through check of bags and negates the need (usually) to check in again. It doesn't mead there will be a codeshare or frequent flyer agreement. Qantas have interlines with Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines etc and there is no mention of FF benefits. A...

    JQ Fleet renewal

I prefer JQ over QF these days. More comfortable seats and the choice to actually eat/drink something I want.

    Qantas domestic economy meals

Well you can choose to have a sandwich, toastie or a pie like what you posted above. Or if you want to choose a snack you can have olives, cheese and crackers... At least there is choice. Likewise for drinks.. instead of beer wine soft drink you have the option to have cider or spirits on JQ.

Seat Access [1G/J & 3G/J blocked on the Jetstar 787]

I believe 1GJ is blocked for bassinet use and 3G/3J is blocked for flight crew rest which is required on about 70% of their flights so it is available for airport check in only.

    Jetstar Delays/Cancellations

SYD NAN is an A320 route so it wouldn't be VKD (788) operating the service.

    New AirNZ Cabins

The J seats look like they would of been great 10 years ago. Don't look very private at all.

Why are airfares now so High?

Flights are full. The only fare classes left for sale will be the higher ones. Just looking on expert flyer and most things are zero in all classes on most airlines. I'd say the traditional "low' season will not be low for a while as people travel after 2 years of not being able to.

Compulsory mask wearing onboard has had it's day for sure. Only a matter of time before Aus falls into line with Europe/USA.
