    Everyday Rewards Targeted Offers

Woolworths has no stock here in Victoria with these strikes. The whole freezer section is empty. They hopefully will bump up the offers as all my dollars have to go Coles this week!

Turkish Airlines flights to Sydney start November 2024

Looks like will be live streamed here. The only downside with this stream is the commentary, sometimes just ATC is enough let alone all the other waffle.

Turkish Airlines flights to Sydney start November 2024

Are they selling the KUL-IST leg separately?

Qatar Airways to acquire 25% of Virgin Australia

I just don’t think QR will want to drift too far away from its own in flight process, that creates further training, and the standard is already high. Ie, should be zero change for the cabin crew aside announcing the VA flight number. Pilots will obviously only need to use the VA callsign.

Qatar Airways to acquire 25% of Virgin Australia

Lounge issues aside, isn’t it just a normal QR flight? They are providing the lease to VA so wouldn’t everything just be standard QR? Aside the Flight Number. Qatar Airways operated for Virgin Australia.

Turkish Airlines flights to Sydney start November 2024

First flight inbound just passed the WA coast. It will be likely live streamed on YouTube. Still no fifth freedom on this route which is weird, and likely costly for TK.

Qatar Airways to acquire 25% of Virgin Australia

Wouldn’t be the first time the dates lapse then the week after the update the timeframes.

    JQ A320N New Fleet

Photos here from today’s media release. It also appears Airbus has updated the overhead panel in the cabin, more in line with the A350. https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1e71fXoboy6jJ3ePUvpBEPmn6xCvUFRX9?usp=sharing

    I'm on a watchlist...

I’d be interested to know what the legal consequences of this are, this is clearly a breach and negligence on Virgin’s end. The process also behind how the intended persons name came about, and how the system of today is processing that, clearly it’s not doing the correct job. I think this is a...

    I'm on a watchlist...

Perhaps contact the Virgin privacy team, even a slight legal threat, I’ve found privacy teams in the past go to significant lengths to sort out issues. Mentioning legal or media threat can often get a fix same day. I had a blue with one company, advised the local paper is running a story on it...

Qatar Airways to acquire 25% of Virgin Australia

It would be interesting to see what QRs ‘fee’ is to Virgin to operate these flights. Assuming it would be something exorbitant as the aim here isn’t to put all the green earnings from these flights onto the VA balance sheet.

Rex in voluntary administration, ending all 737 services

Only just off a D check prior to Rex so that would seem unlikely the lessor funding a conversion. You would get a better return leasing it off in the passenger configuration.

    Emirates receive their first A350

Really wish the ME3 would send these nice 350s to the east coast.

Qatar Airways to acquire 25% of Virgin Australia

Seems like it’s been approved, Velocity email re the ‘breakup’ with Etihad sent this evening, and apparently Virgin has scheduled a Town Hall with its staff tomorrow lunchtime.

Qatar Airways to acquire 25% of Virgin Australia

AFR hinting that an announcement is due this week or tomorrow, however they said that about the whole deal for about a year so we will wait and see. They did cite conditions attached however, will be interesting to see the years tied to the wet lease, assuming 3-5 years. IASC mustn’t be...

Etihad announces 10 new routes on 25/11/24

Yes I think I looked to much into it, I mean, the original launch presser had a Broome Beach in the marketing. They don’t even fly to WA, not seemed to have any intention to! I still think EY is strong enough to upsize MEL and SYD to double daily, and bring the A350 down under. They obviously...

Qantas Project Sunrise goes ahead, 12 new A350-1000s ordered

I agree. VS even post a restructure still has a questionable earnings outlook. Virgin in Oz has proven in the early days to be somewhat successful, sadly lost its way in the middle era, and has now gone back to a now sustainable model. VS has never had solid results.
