AA buy miles promo, 50% bonus, increased annual limit to 60k

The website says bonus points takes 5 days to post. What is the experience of those who have made purchases? I have a booking of hold, and due to travel being less than 14 days away, the hold only lasts 1 day, and can only be renewed 1day each time by calling them.

Thank you for your kinds words. Sometimes when I fly I ask for the menus from all cabin classes, and even some main dishes in PE are the same as that in First.

Part 3 After a very satisfying starter and main, it was time for dessert. I had to decline the cheese plate as I was getting too full, but the crew presented the options on a nice wooden board. Cheese available were: Aged Chedder, Goat Cheese, Cambozola, Petit Pont Fresh seasonal fruit...

    CX F SIN to HKG

Part 2 After takeoff, drinks were offered and I stuck with the same option. It was great being the only passenger in F. I enjoyed the full attention of both the crew working in that cabin, as well as from the customer service manager, who came by frequently to check on things or just to have a...

    QF9 MEL-SIN in F

Boarding call was made, and it was time to proceed to the main event. The flight must have been quite full in the main cabin, with queues backing up to the main level (the A380 boards from one level below the main departure hall). A faster way would be to take the lifts directly to the gate...

Melbourne F Lounge Spring Menu Sashimi of Yellowfin tuna with soy dressing Noodle Soup with Dumplings Raspberry sorbet with Veuve Clicquot and Noble One A satisfying, and hopefully healthy-ish meal. The only let down was the salt and pepper squid, which was soggy and tasted flat.

Melbourne F Lounge Wasted no time time in getting to the Flounge to maximise the 5 hour layover. I did not manage to get a spa appointment the day before, as I wasnt available to answer the one call from the F team. Not a problem though, as there was plenty of available appointments that day...

    QF9 MEL-SIN in F

It was time for my year end break, and what better place to spend it than in Singapore. With the upcoming arrangements with Emirate, this would be one of the last times to fly the QF A380 on this route, which would be replaced by a new flight number, QF35/36, operated by the 747, between...

    Flights Sydney to Brisbane

Currently have a booking for QF505 BNE-SYD connecting to QF421 SYD-MEL (both sectors in J), before catching the QF9 in F out of MEL. Thinking of changing to the QF8 for the BNE-SYD, just for the novelty, having never seen the refurbished 747s, then taking a later SYD-MEL, perhaps QF429. I guess...
