Operational question: There can be heavy rain / bad weather in the evening in SIN when we often see smaller aircrafts (esp those heading to XSP) being held back by a few hours out of KUL/Indonesia especially or diversions back/into Malaysia/Indonesia. Any ideas how QF handles this scenario for...

There is discussion ongoing in some of the FB Groups that QF is taking out a 787 on the QF25/26 route (SYD to Haneda) and sub in an A330 instead from 1 April. Any idea where the frame is coming from and where the 787 frame is going to? Maybe the Hawaii route?

Holiday season aside but just based on the data points above, it seems that some of QF J loads on Asian routes are quite low even just a few days out. So upgrades with points on some routes seems quite feasible as Gold.
