I'm in BNE lounge today, food options are getting better, I only had some snacks so can't comment on the actual meals. This was the menu, plus I saw pork/veggie buns, party pies, soup, packet chips.

Was checking my email spam folder and saw an email from ANZ loyalty, which was giving a $10 gift card for paying a telco bill with my card. It was sent a day after i paid my Optus bill, so that and checking for any normal scam signs, i do believe it's legit. Can't find it mentioned anywhere...

Well the menu overall seems fine i guess, but no somewhat filling meals at all? Most of my flying is Brisbane - Perth and back, so even a simple pasta hot meal would have been just right. Noodles, cheese+crackers and a coke for $12 isn't awful i guess..

Flew Brisbane to Perth and back 10th-18th. Going over we were given a bag of nuts early on, then a choc orange biscuit towards the end. Coming back it was a choc orange biscuit early on and bag of chickpea snack and choc orange biscuit later on. Get some food in the lounge beforehand if possible!

Got my 1st lot of lounge passes today, now if only i didn't have to cancel/change my BNE-PER flight for this weekend a 2nd time!

Because of border closure, so while i could have taken the flight, i would have had to quarantine and all that (If not sent back). So you should be fine to ask to put it on credit without much issue.

Spoke to anz travel today as i was no longer able to take my trip to Perth. Was able to get a credit, which lasts until the date i originally booked on. Was advised there's also no "Reissue fee" if i book and travel before 31st March, not sure if this is the $133 fee they mentioned or not...

Has anyone received their passes? Am traveling next week and had hoped to use them..

Bit of a hassle today but all booked now. On hold for 2 hours before my headphones accidentally hung up, called for another 2 hours before having to leave (Down the elevator so no chance to stay on). Figured i'd call one more time, on hold for an hour before my headphones hung up again, however...

Couldn't see any mention of it but my Velocity Platinum card also got a Spend $400, get $100 back offer. Can spend at any amex accepting business and can be in one or more transactions.

Started about 4pm qld and was still on hold after 2.5 hours before having to leave, fingers crossed for Monday!

Booked my flight today, will then book another after my anniversary date on the 18th. They mentioned $133 change fee too. Was anyone able to order the lounge passes? I was told they'll send it out once the lounge opens in 4 weeks, though i bet i'll have to follow them up..

There was 3 buses of people being directed into a hotel at Southbank last night though as i walked past, with quite a number of luggage around. I assume they came from this flight, unless there was another flight that came in.
