You are correct.

Yes, 2700 SC count towards P1. Additional benefits such as Platinum Bonus Reward upon reaching 2400 SC (Earn 50,000pts) will not work as bonus SC are not counted.

The 2120 SC is correct to reach minimum 3600 SC for platinum one. As part of the 3600 total, a minimum 2700 must be flown with a QF flight number.

Qantas was using facial scanning at the boarding gate LAX in 2023. I assume they use your passport photo courtesy of Aus. Govt. as I have never provided QF any photos.

Loyalty Bonus SC's are showing as counting towards the 2700 QF flight minimum this year. I expect next year SC's will not count for any category to retain/attain P1, but will count towards life time status.
